Here are some notes from the Galaxy Electric in performing the piece:

“This was an improv piece captured live to 1/4" reel to reel involving our Buchla inspired modular and vocals through effects. The vocals performed by Jacqueline have a tape loop inspired vocal chain involving two Roland RE-20 Space Echoes with one for slapback delay and reverb and the other simulating a long tape loop with aging feedback. The lyrics were also completely improvised. The rest was performed by Augustus using the Buchla inspired modular alongside a pre-recorded tape loop playing on a Tascam Porta02 mkII. The modules involved were 285 Frequency Shifter/Balanced Modulator, 258 Dual Oscillator, 277 Signal Delay Unit, and 207 Mixer Preamplifier. At first you hear just the sound of the tape loop, then comes the modulated oscillator and delay that was manipulated by hand throughout. At some stage the oscillator performance was recorded and dubbed using the Electro-Harmonix 2880 Super Multi-track Looper. The 207 was used for the automated stereo panning effect.”
